This grape is one of our favorite red wines! We believe that this varietal best reveals its place and vineyard by expressing identifiable and distinct aromas, textures and tastes. 

We can compare Pinot Noir from the most prominent AVAs in California, or perhaps from the Willamette Valley (Oregon), or Burgundy (France) the birthplace of this noble grape. The choice is yours!

Cabernet Sauvignon is synonymous with Napa, but this grape originates from France and dominates most of Bordeaux's expensive wines. Australia, South America, and South Africa also produce very good to outstanding Cab Sauv.

We have done several Merlot-only tastings and have been blown away by the quality of wines we have discovered.

We believe you will agree that Miles would likely modify his opinion on Merlot today.
